This April, PhD student Jerònia Cubells from GEMOTT arrived at the University of Tokyo to carry out her research stay. Thanks to a grant from the Canon Foundation that promotes research exchanges between Europe and Japan, the PhD student from the group has arrived at the Urban Transport Research Unit in the Department of Urban Engineering. The purpose of the stay is to study the travel chains of micromobility users (shared bikes and scooters), to study the complexity of the travel chains of these users and how micromobility means are combined with other means of transport to chain trips, using GPS data.
