From September 10 to 12, Amsterdam will host a new edition of the 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 (CRB), one of the leading international conferences in research on cycling mobility, organized by the Urban Cycling Institute .

We are pleased to announce that Gemott researcher Oriol Roig Costa will participate with the presentation:
“Using mobile methods to uncover infrastructural and experiential factors in docked bike-sharing”.

The research focuses on how mobile methods – such as interviews and observations during journeys – allow us to better understand both the infrastructure conditions and the subjective experiences of users of docked bike-sharing systems.
The presentation will take place within the session “From ownership to consumerism, how is bike sharing shaping cities?”, dedicated to analyzing the growing role of bike-sharing in urban mobility and its impact on the planning of more sustainable cities.

With this contribution, Oriol Roig will open new perspectives on the relationship between infrastructure, user experience and sustainability in shared bike systems.
