We welcome Asia Latini, who joins the group as a new pre-doctoral researcher!
We are very pleased to welcome Asia Latini, who has recently joined GEMOTT as a doctoral student.
Asia has a background in social psychology and neuroscience, and will bring us an interdisciplinary perspective that connects environmental research with social and behavioral sciences.
At GEMOTT, you will participate in the EU-funded ATMOPOLIS (Air and Noise Pollution Mitigation through Integrated and Society-Focused Actions) project. The project brings together 14 partners from across Europe to combat air and noise pollution from an integrated environmental and social perspective.
Within the framework of ATMOPOLIS, Asia will use qualitative approaches to better understand how people perceive air and noise pollution in urban environments. Her research will contribute to incorporating citizens’ experiences into the development of mitigation policies, helping to ensure that solutions are socially grounded, equitable and effective.
We’re so happy to have you on board, Asia: welcome to the team!
