Professor Carme Miralles-Guasch has been invited to participate in two activities of the FIL Pensamiento 2025 program, within the Guadalajara International Book Fair (Mexico) , one of the most relevant cultural events in the Hispanic-American area.

1. Panel “City and mobility: a complex binomial in Latin American cities of the Global South”

In this panel, Miralles-Guasch debated the challenges of urban mobility in cities of the Global South together with José Luis Águila Flores (University of Guadalajara), Adriana I. Olivares González (Instituto de Investigación y Estudio de las Ciudades) and Tonantzin Elusay Cárdenas Méndez (Deputy of District 4 of Zapopan, Jalisco).

2. Forum of Cities: “Cities in action: urban strategies to face the climate crisis”

📍 Hotel Barceló Guadalajara Auditorium (with streaming)

As part of Barcelona’s invitation as an Honorary City , Miralles-Guasch will participate in this meeting focused on the role of cities in the face of the climate crisis. He will share a panel with Eduardo López Moreno and Ana Alcántara , moderated by Ana Díaz Aldret . Activity organized by the CUCEA (Centro Universitario de Ciencias Económico Administrativas) .
