Who we are

We are a research group that studies the effects of territorial dynamics on mobility.


The Mobility, Transport and Territorial Studies Group (GEMOTT) was founded in 1994 within the Department of Geography at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. We analyze the repercussions of mobility models on the environment, as well as the social consequences in terms of cohesion and exclusion resulting from the organization of travel across different modes of transport.
