About us
We are a research group that studies the effects of territorial dynamics on mobility.
The Research Group in Mobility, Transport, and Territory (GEMOTT) was founded in 1994 at the Department of Geography of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. We analyse the environmental impacts of mobility models and the social consequences in terms of cohesion and exclusion in the organisation of travel in various modes of transportation.
