Yesterday, May 6th, Malmö Universitet hosted the annual consortium meeting for the #DUT project #JiM – Just in 15 Minutes.
It was a full day of constructive dialogue, where project partners shared valuable updates on where we stand, what we are working on, and where we are heading.
GEMOTT was represented by Oriol Marquet and Monika Maciejewska, who actively contributed to the discussions on how to better understand and shape the future of the 15-minute city through a lens of environmental and social justice.

The JiM project is an interdisciplinary initiative that aims to generate knowledge for more informed planning and policy decision-making. It examines the location of welfare services and how spatial decisions affect different social groups, striving for equity and accessibility in urban contexts.
The project brings together researchers, municipalities, and public transport operators across Sweden and Europe, fostering collaboration for more inclusive, just, and sustainable cities.
We sincerely thank Malmö University for their warm welcome and excellent organisation of the meeting.
